Mr Jaishankar said that every nation has the right to uphold its national sovereignty."We're not only important maritime nations, but we are at two ends of the Indo-Pacific. It's also a fact that we are two nations that make an exceptional commitment to global shipping. Every country has an interest in maritime security, in our case, more than many other countries normally would have. Every nation has the right to uphold its national sovereignty," he said.
