Ex-servicemen want more pension
Ex servicemen are holding a nationwide agitation on Monday demanding better pension and benefits. In Delhi some of them who went on a hunger strike at India Gate were detained earlier on Monday. They want a one-rank, one-pension policy which would treat personnel from all forces at par. They also want a legislation that would make it mandatory on PSUs and Government undertakings and corporates that supply military equipment, to absorb all retired servicemen.
