The Union government in a meeting on Sunday, May 23, discussed the issue of the pending Class 12 exams and entrance exams where it proposed two options for conducting the board exams. While one option was to have the Class 12 students write exams in only a few major subjects, the second option was to hold exams in schools but change the exam pattern. Delhi's Deputy Chief Minister Manish Sisodia tells NDTV: "The Government of India must ensure that the students are vaccinated before they take the exams. Studies and exams will only happen if our children are safe, we cannot play with the lives of children to hold exams".
