Russia Wrong on Syria; Assad, ISIS Both Priorities: US Envoy to UN

It's a "false choice" to ask us which is a greater priority - getting Bashar al-Assad out or destroying ISIS, says US Permanent Representative to the UN Samantha Power. In an exclusive interview to NDTV, Samantha Power underscored the necessity to get ISIS and Assad out simultaneously and said, "Russia is wrong (on Syria and Assad), as simple as that". She said the US supported India's attempt to bring up Lashkar at the UN and that the US cooperation in 26/11 probe had been "unprecedented". She spoke of David Headley, who has been made an accused, testifying in the Mumbai blasts case. "I believe one of the individuals involved in the attacks is going to be testifying in the trial here...just one example of trying to make sure that we have nothing but synergy in terms of actually ensuring that perpetrators are held," she said.
