Exclusive: Mumbai Civic Body Chief On ICU Beds In The City
Mumbai has only 30 ICU beds vacant, said the chief of the city's civic body, the Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation (BMC). Iqbal Singh Chahal, commissioner of the BMC told NDTV that there is a plan to add many more beds. Maharashtra has the highest number of coronavirus cases in the country. The state also has the highest number of and its capital Mumbai is one of the worst-hit cities in the country.
