Exclusive: Tata Sons Chairman N Chandrasekaran On Plans For Semiconductor Industry
Tata Electronics has concluded an agreement with Taiwan-based Powerchip Semiconductor Manufacturing Corporation to set up a chip manufacturing unit at Dholera in Gujarat. Speaking to NDTV, Tata Sons Chairman N Chandrasekaran said that they are planning to establish additional manufacturing facilities in Assam, Kerala, and other locations across India.
He said that chip is going to be the future and that everything in the world be technology driven.
