Expect Banks to Sell NPAs worth Rs 35,000 Crore in FY16: Edelweiss ARC
Siby Antony, CEO of Edelweiss Asset Reconstruction Company, speaks to NDTV about the sale of bad assets to asset reconstruction companies. He says there has been an aggressive pick-up in the first quarter of FY16 and that he expects banks to sell NPAs worth Rs 35,000 crore in FY16. Edelweiss ARC aims to acquire assets worth Rs 5000 crore this year, he adds.
