Expect Fed to announce QE3 in line with market expectations: National Australia Bank
National Australia Bank expects the Fed to announce QE3 in line with market expectations. Nick Parsons, Head of Markets Strategy, National Australia Bank expects the Fed to detail the pace of purchases as well at tonight's meet. The focus for the Fed now may be to move town the credit curve and look at buying a greater proportion of mortgage backed securities rather than govt bonds. National Australia Bank also expects that while QE3 from Fed may help support markets, a strong rally is unlikely.
