Expect negative year in terms of tea production: McLeod Russel
McLeod Russel India (MRIL), India's largest bulk tea producer, is concerned over the consequences of delayed monsoon, which eventually affects the plantation. In an interview to NDTV Profit, Kamal Baheti, CFO, McLeod Russel, said that he expects a negative year in terms of production. "A shortfall in production has started from the beginning of the year due to weak and delayed monsoon," he added.
