Expect power tariff hike in Rajasthan, UP: REC
HD Khunteta, Director (Finance) at REC speaks to NDTV profit about a possible hike in tariff by power distribution companies. He says that he expects a power tariff hike in Rajasthan and UP. The power distribution companies (discoms) are also likely to get restructuring loans worth Rs 1.5 lakh crore, which will be positive for REC too, which has an exposure of Rs 35,000 crore.
