The Music Hour brings you Kodaly String Quartet from Hungary as they performed at the India Habitat Centre, New Delhi. Founded in 1966 by four students of the Franz Liszt Academy in Budapest as a continuation of the great Hungarian string quartet tradition, this group assumed its present name in honour of the outstanding Hungarian composer Zoltán Kodály and gives tremendous importance to the values and traditions that Kodály conceived as essential in musical culture.
