Explainer: How Is Direct Seeding Rice Environment Friendly?

The farm uses an innovative rice or paddy cultivation technique called Direct Seeding Rice, or the DSR method, where rice seeds are sown directly into the field and don’t require transplantation of seedlings like in the conventional method.
