Explainer: Why India Needs E-commerce Export Hubs
The Union Budget 2024-25 has proposed the establishment of 10 to 15 e-commerce export hubs, or ECEH to promote exports through online platforms.
The major objective of these e-commerce export hubs is to reduce the hassles related to e-commerce exports, which are done through platforms like Amazon, eBay, Walmart and others. The government is engaging with stakeholders to finalise final regulation related to the hub.
