F-35 Fighter Jets | Defence Secretary Reveals Details On Trump's F-35 Fighter Jets Offer To India
Defence Secretary Rajesh Kumar Singh has confirmed that India's Defence Ministry has a significant procurement plan on US President Donald Trump's F35 Fighter Jets offer. He said, "Defence Ministry has a procurement plan, but those would be announced only after the procurement process is completed. So as of now, we can't give a running commentary on the procurement process, but yes, there are plans. India has a fairly large capital acquisition budget of about Rs 1.8 crore in the next financial year and about Rs 1.6 crore in this financial year, and we intend to utilize it to the extent possible through these procurements...".
