Haryana Chief Minister Cancels Farmer's Meet After Protesters Tear-Gassed
Chief Minister Manohar Lal Khattar's visit to a village near Karnal and his meeting with a gathering of farmers got cancelled after a group pf farmers protesting against the Centre's agri-sector laws ransacked the venue. The Haryana police cracked down on the protesting farmers, who were trying to enter the Kemla village. Cellphone footage from the spot showed the police firing tear gas shells and using water cannons.
