Fake fertilisers playing foul in Bihar
Many villages in Bihar's Vaishali district are experiencing a farming crisis. Their crops have turned yellow and it is suspected that it could have been because of fake fertilisers.Wheat crop at this time of the year should be standing lush green. Here, it is all burnt yellow because of spurious fertilizer bought in the black market. Over 500 acres of wheat crop are affected. Farmers are already under heavy loans and are at their wit's end.
