Fall In Oil Prices Will Lead To Lower Remittances: Crisil
D K Joshi, chief economist at Crisil says, the remittances from gulf countries have declined only marginally by 2.2 per cent in FY2016 compared to previous year. But if oil prices fall again and remain low for extended period of time then remittances will be hit harder, he added.
