Swaraj India chief Yogendra Yadav said the government repealing the three controversial farm laws is "historic victory" for the farmers, underlining that it is only partial acceptance of their demands with legal guarantee on MSP still pending. "Farmers have shown that they matter in this country, they cannot be consigned to dustbin of history. Farmers have shown their unity; their resilience can bend anyone...This is partial acceptance of farmers' demands, what we need is legal guarantee of MSP, which the PM himself had demanded when he was the Chief Minister of Gujarat," said Mr Yadav.
