Farmer suicides: NDTV reports from Ground Zero
The government's decision to lift the ban on export of cotton has brought little relief to cotton farmers in Vidarbha which is witnessing an agrarian crisis and has seen nearly 350 suicides by cotton farmers this year alone. NDTV brings you this report from Washim and Yavatmal districts of Vidarbha where farmers' dependence on private traders means there's very little they can do about low prices.
