Farmers demand onion export ban to be lifted
A few days back, the prices of onion rose to near record levels creating havoc in the budgets of millions of households across the country. Now, with a fresh crop and prices plummeting, those left suffering the most are the farmers. Hit hard by the crashing price of onions, they are demanding the export ban to be lifted.
