'Won't Let Them Destroy Farmers': Farmer Leader Rakesh Tikait
Farmer leader Rakesh Tikait said they will not stop their protest around Delhi and return home. "We won't let them destroy our farmers. We will die by suicide if farm laws are not withdrawn. This is a conspiracy to kill farmers; the BJP is conspiring against farmers," Mr Tikait said. Huge security arrangements were made at the Delhi-Uttar Pradesh border at Ghazipur on Thursday evening as farmers protesting against the Centre's contentious farm laws remained locked in a face-off with the police.
