Fast unto death for river Ganga
At a time when the country was celebrating Ganga Dussehra, in Uttarakashi a veteran scientist choose the day to fast unto death, a desperate attempt to save a sacred river from the clutches of unmindful developmental at its very source. A special prayer was held for the holiest river, Ganga, that's choking.
