Federalism Vs Nationalism Debate Over Border Security Force's Expanded Jurisdiction
Union Home Ministry's notification giving Border Security Force a greater footprint in Punjab and other border states has once again triggered the federalism debate. The Punjab Government, as well as the ruling Trinamool Congress in West Bengal, has hit out at the Centre over the move, while the Assam government has welcomed it.
