Festival frenzy: Telangana celebrates 'Bonalu Jatra'

It's celebration time in Andhra Pradesh's Telangana region. The music, colour, dance and religious frenzy is for Bonalu Pandaga, a festival during which offerings of food or bonam, are carried in earthen pots decorated with neem leaves and a lamp on top, to Goddess Mahakali in order to ward off evil and disease.
