Jammu is getting a facelift. With less than a fortnight left for the government offices to reopen after the Diwali break, the winter Capital of the state is being spruced up. Each year, more than 10,000 government employees and about two lakh Kashmiris come to Jammu to escape the chill of the Valley. But this year their numbers are greatly reduced. Jatinder runs a private hostel in old Jammu city. But this year, he has hardly any guests.
