Today, Karnataka's government is grappling with an alarming increase in farmer suicides, 90 since April. And in Maharashtra desperate farmers are asking for permission to kill themselves. Central Maharashtra and Marathwada are the worst hit. Opposition parties say nearly 2000 farmers have committed suicide since the BJP took over. So what has changed? But in Karnataka it's for the ruling Congress to answer the same question.
