Fighting Rages Around Ukraine As Russia Declares War
Russia invaded Ukraine today beginning with early morning shelling in cities and towns across the country. Ground troops followed, but it is still not clear how much of the country has been taken. This afternoon the mayor of Kharkiv, Ukraine's second largest city was surrounded. VoAs Heather Murdock reports from road from Kharkiv to Kyiv, the Ukrainian capital, which has also been under attack.
