First Look of India's Largest Underground Metro Facility
India is in the midst of an infrastructural overhaul and one of sectors is metro lines in major cities. The Kolkata Metro Railway will soon connect the city's airport to the city centre through operational and under-construction metro lines cutting the journey from the Esplanade to the airport to 30 minutes, providing a huge infrastructural boost to Kolkata's metro network. The metro station at the airport will have five platforms and also an underground yard and will be connected to the terminal through subways.
