Flood affects 15 districts in Orissa
In Orissa, heavy rain has caused its biggest river, the Mahanadi, to rise and 15 of the 30 districts in the state are already affected. Thousands have been evacuated and at least 3000 people are still marooned. The situation is grave in Kendrapara district, which has been virtually cut-off after four breaches in river embankments on Saturday.
