Flood alert sounded in Gujarat

There's a flood alert in Ahmedabad and 12,500 people have been evacuated to safer places. The administration has warned that more water may have to be released from the dam in the next 12-24 hours as it's raining heavily in the catchment areas of neighbouring Madhya Pradesh and Rajasthan.
