Floods creates havoc in Barak Valley
Barak River, in southern Assam, has breached embankments and has inundated three districts, cutting off Barak Valley as well as Tripura and Mizoram from the rest of India for over a month now. With water levels showing no signs of receding the army had to be called in. But there is little anyone can do.
