FM grants infra status to hospitals, educational institutes

Hospitals and schools across the country will now be counted as infrastructure. Finance Minister Pranab Mukherjee has allowed, capital investments made by educational institutes and hospitals eligible for viability gap funding, or VGF, which will allow the private sector to share their investment costs with government agencies.
