FM Nirmala Sitharaman Announces Benefits Under PM Housing Scheme

Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman announced that the Union Budget 2024-25  necessary allocations are being made for three crore additional houses (both urban and rural) under the PM Awas Yojna.

Ms Sitharaman presented her seventh consecutive Union Budget today. She announced Rs 2.2 lakh crore boost for urban housing, and a new rental concept to facilitate  accommodation for workers in industrial, urban areas.
