Food Grains Must Be Distributed Immediately: Economist Jayati Ghosh
Economist Jayati Ghosh stressed on using food grains stocked for a rainy day. She said, "At any point in any case it is normal to hoard the grains but now we are in a situation that these grains need to be released immediately." Ms Ghosh also emphasised on ensuring there is a smooth and sufficient supply of essential commodities like food and medicines.
