"For First Time, A State Is Being Turned Union Territory": Manish Tewari
On Centre's move to remove Article 370, which grants special status to Jammu and Kashmir, Congress leader Manish Tewari said in Lok Sabha: "In the last 70 years, demands have been raised that union territories be converted into states but this is probably the first time in history that a state has been converted into union territory. There cannot be a bigger blow to federal structure than this."
