Forced to marry, girls turn runaway brides
Runaway brides are becoming more and more common in Andhra Pradesh. These are not young girls eloping to get married but minor girls running away from home to escape marriage and continue in school. With no administrative machinery in place for young girls to knock the door and get help in such situations, these girls could be walking into hands of traffickers.
