Free Speech Curbed At Art Event
One of India's finest actors and film makers Amol Palekar has been asked to shut up by members of the National Gallery of Modern Art in Mumbai when he made critical remarks about the government allegedly trying to scrap a committee of artists. On Left Right and Centre, we ask who has the right to censor what Mr Palekar wanted to say.
