'One Man's Freebie Is Another Man's Social Spending': Tamil Nadu Finance Minister
Tamil Nadu Finance Minister Palanivel Thiagarajan has hit out at the BJP over what he calls "double standards" over a debate on freebies and welfare schemes. He says why is it ok for the BJP to promise and give freebies and not other parties. He also questions the role of the Supreme Court in the issue, saying that the voters are the best judge to decide on the freebies.
