Freebies Not Sustainable, Says BJP Leader
BJP's Lalitha Kumaramangalam said the problem with freebies is that they are presented as a way to help uplift the downtrodden or empower the poor. However, as evidence suggests, these freebies don't have a long-term benefit as they are usually not sustainable, she said.
