On Livestream we discuss the Friday Namaz which was offered in Gurugram amid tight security. Gurugram authorities have appointed 76 Duty Magistrates to oversee offering of Friday prayers by the Muslims, an official said on Thursday. Hindu outfits in Gurugram had on Wednesday urged the district authorities to designate open spaces for Friday prayers away from temples. Will this now be a yardstick for any religious prayer in public spaces? Is this more than an issue with prayers?
