Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Akhilesh Yadav, whose Samajwadi Party is allying with the Congress for Uttar Pradesh assembly elections, told NDTV that his party has been big hearted in the friendship with the Congress as they have given them 105 seats to contest. "As far as our candidates are concerned, some of them have lost out on tickets. But you can only win big if you sacrifice something," he said. Also taking on Prime Minister Narendra Modi's recent comments at an election rally in UP, Mr Yadav said "the PM is talking of kabristans and shamshans with no real information or knowledge".
