Lalu Yadav's son, Tejashwi Yadav, appears to have the sort of good luck for which most entrepreneurs seek astrological intervention. A series of deals starting with 2008 - when Lalu was union Railways Minister - have climaxed with Tejashwi, Deputy Chief Minister of Bihar, becoming part owner of companies that own valuable real estate. It is through one of these that the 27-year-old controls a plot in one of South Delhi's fanciest neighbhourhoods where "builder flats" - a staple of new construction in the capital -are in development.
