Britain's love for Indian cuisine goes back centuries. East India Company introduced Indian spices to Britain. London’s Haymarket served its first curry in 1733. By the 18th century, 'curry and rice' started ruling British pub menus. Piccadilly pubs popularised Indian flavours in Britain further.
