From the commercial town, Surat, in his home state Gujarat to the holy city, Varanasi, his constituency, in UP, with infra projects worth thousands of crores, launch of welfare schemes and a key cultural outreach, PM Modi's day-long whirlwind tour kicks off campaign for 2024. His day began in Surat where he inaugurated new airport terminal. The highlight was the launch of Surat Diamond Bourse. Later in the day, the PM launched the second Kashi Tamil Sangamam in Varanasi.
