With the Lok Sabha elections round the corner, the Jat vote becomes crucial in Rajasthan. In the 2003 elections, the Jats swung towards Vasundhara Raje, giving her a decisive win. With Jats impacting about 40 of the Vidhan Sabha seats, the Congress could try the same and get the Jats behind it by giving a Jat CM.
