Local food also has no added chemicals aimed at transit. Local food is more nutritious, ripe fruits and vegetables contain the most nutrients. Eating locally means you will be eating in season, the natural cycle of produce is designed to suit our health. Last but not the least, local food means caring for the environment, there is lesser carbon footprint due to minimised food transportation. We ask doctors why we must not ignore local food.
