The prices of petrol and diesel are at an all-time high in India. The price of petrol is over Rs 100 per litre and now diesel also over Rs 100 per litre in parts of the country. LPG, CNG, PNG, and cooking oil prices have also gone up, this has been a huge burden on the already pandemic-struck common man. But now with Diwali and also elections around the corner, is some relief on its way? Top government sources have indicated the government is working actively and engaging with the finance ministry to try and bring down the prices of petroleum products.
