For millions of Indians across the country, the record highs in diesel and petrol prices has been nothing short of a nightmare. Commuting has become a challenge, inflation is on the rise and in rural India, where agriculture is heavily dependent on diesel, a rise in diesel prices has had a sharp impact on transportation costs.
