Fukushima as bad as Chernobyl?
The nightmare for Japan has just got worse. The situation at the Fukushima Daiichi nuclear plant is now serious enough to merit the highest alert during a nuclear crisis. It’s an alert that brings back memories of Chernobyl many years ago, but the Japanese government says that the crisis at Fukushima is only 10 per cent of what happened at Chernobyl.
