"India's stature in the comity of nations has gone up substantially after this G20 presidency. What India did was go back to basics and focus on economics rather than get caught up in political aspects and thereby was able to bring this unanimity. That is a very important victory for India's diplomacy. G20 is primarily for furthering economic aspects. In this respect the India-Middle East-Europe Economic Corridor is the new Silk Route," said KV Subramanian, Executive Director, IMF.
